Additionally, once over 40 years old, you need to adapt your training regime in terms of exercise choices, sets, reps, and workout days, simply following routines that worked in your twenties don’t apply now you’re over 40.
Does that mean you can’t look great over 40 years old?
No! It simply means you need to train smarter, not harder and do so within your bodies ability to recover properly.

I didn’t use any fat burners or have an army of supplements. I drank black coffee to help me burn fat, but I wasn’t chugging down protein shakes, taking creatine or any of that nonsense.
Believe it or not I only weight train three times per week, not only is this super effective, but it gives you a life outside the gym.
Fitness is supposed to be one small part of your life, not your entire existence.
